Family Based Feeding Packages

The best therapists in the world are a child’s parents.  Family Based Feeding packages have been designed to train parents using research based techniques to get their little ones (and sometimes, big kids!) to eat!

• The Starter $99

  • Appropriate for a new parent who is unsure of moving forward with purees, puffs, and other foods. This is best for children who have not yet been introduced to foods or is just getting started.
  • With this package you receive
    • A 60-minute home visit or telecommunication visit.
    • Techniques to use when introducing purees
    • Order of food introduction
    • Recommendations of seating arrangements
    • Discussion of moving forward with new foods
    • A written home plan

• Infants to 1 year of age $249

  • Appropriate for families of breast and/or bottle feeders who are having difficulty. As well as families who are struggling with transitioning into purees.
  • With this package you receive a 90 to 120-minute home visit to observe and discuss a typical feeding or meal, a written child and family based plan made up of goals as well as techniques recommended to meet these goals, and a 30 minute follow up  through telecommunication or phone call following one month of family implementation of the plan provided.

• Toddlers and New Eaters (Ages 2 through 4) $299

  • Appropriate for families who are introducing or transitioning into solid or table food. As well as families who are having difficulty transitioning from bottles or breast to age appropriate cups.
  • With this package you receive
    • A 90 to 120 – minute home visit to observe and discuss a typical meal time or feeding
    • A written child and family based plan made up of goals as well as techniques recommended to meet these goals
    • A step by step weekly plan to assist with specific food introduction
    • A 30 to 60 minute telecommunication or phone call to discuss progress following one month of family implementation.

• Picky Eaters (Ages 4 through 18) $299

  • Appropriate for children who avoid most foods offered or become upset when introduced to new foods.
  • With this package you receive
    • A 90 to 120 – minute home visit to observe and discuss a typical meal time or feeding
    • A child and family based plan made up of goals as well as techniques recommended to meet these goals
    • A step by step weekly plan to assist with specific food introduction
    • And a 30 minute telecommunication or phone call to discuss progress following one month of family implementation.

• Family Time $249

  • Appropriate for families who feel like they have lost control of meal time. Focus is on eliminating stressors that frequently cause meal time madness.  Also appropriate for families who must make multiple different meal options to meet the needs of their entire family.
  • With this package you receive
    • A 60 to 90-minute home visit to observe a typical meal and debrief following the meal. It can consist of a viewing of a video recorded meal time if this better meets the family’s needs.
    • A written family plan consisting of family goals, techniques to assist with meeting these goals
    • A 30-minute phone consult following one month of implementation of the plan.

• Long distance Diner $149

  •  Appropriate for any family that is struggling with feeding, whether the child is a new born or starting college next Fall who is living more than 120 miles outside of Sioux Falls, SD.
  • With this package you receive
    • A 30 minute telecommunication or phone discussion regarding the specific needs of your family
    • A review of a video recorded meal time or feeding
    • A written plan consisting of family meal time goals and techniques to assist with meeting these goals
    • A 30-minute phone consultation following one month of implementation.

• Day Care Diner  $149

  • A 60-90 minute session on incorporating best meal time practices into your daycare setting.

• In home training educating families and in home child care providers on natural techniques to enhance your child’s language development. All children benefit from this 60-minute training.

Day Care Courses and In-services $149

• Onsite training to educate daycare providers and preschool teachers on the importance of how we speak to children. A  60-90 minute hands-on course targeting the use of the child’s natural environment to enhance language and social development.

Long Distant Learner $79

• Visiting your home via tele-communication to assist families and in home child care providers to focus on your child’s language development. A 60-minute discussion of natural enhancement of your child’s language skills.
